Financial Derivatives

This publication, issued every six months, gathers information related to financial derivatives used by institutions in the Argentine Financial System: notional amounts, types of contracts, objectives of the transactions carried out, underlying assets, kinds of settlement, transaction terms, trading areas or counterparties and originally agreed terms; as well as residual terms of current transactions.

Moreover, it seeks to inform the practices and objectives of the transactions carried out by financial institutions.

The information contained in this publication has been provided by financial institutions in accordance with “Annex O - Reporting System Quarterly Balance - Annual Publication”. For this reason, it does not imply any consent on the part of the BCRA.
