Working Papers

Working Papers are academic essays written by economists from the BCRA and are posted in this section before being published in printed format. They are circulated among economists, academics, and other professionals to disseminate ongoing research and gather feedback before being published in specialized journals.

In addition, these papers are published on the websites of RePEc (IDEAS and EconPapers) and the Bank for International Settlements. Since 2025, all Working Papers have been published through the BCRA’s Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, where each edition is available in fully digital and open access format.
