Recommendations:

What happens if I have to cancel a visit?

If, for any reason, you have to cancel it, please call the Museum as soon as possible at the telephone number in the e-mail you received with the visit confirmation so that we can offer the slot to another institution.

What happens if I have arranged a visit but I don't show up?

Please let us know in advance so that we can offer the slot to another group.

How much does the visit cost?

All visits are free of charge.

Can a visit be rescheduled?

It is difficult to reschedule visits as the Museum tends to be fully booked. Changes may be requested as an exception, in advance, and will be subject to availability.

Are late arrivals allowed?

We suggest planning ahead and allowing plenty of time for transportation, since a late arrival will mean less time available to participate in the activities.

Is there information available to plan the visit to the Museum?

Yes, you will find videos in Spanish and Argentine Sign Language about the collections in the different rooms in our YouTube channel. You can also access the 360° virtual tour and the photo gallery through our profile at the Google Cultural Institute.

What is the minimum and maximum number of students per group?

School visits are designed for groups of 10 to 30 for a quality tour.

How many adults should there be in the group?

One adult every 10 students is required for primary and secondary schools. Groups above this number should be divided in two, starting at the same time in two different rooms of the Museum. There must be at least two adult members from the institution for each subgroup.

Does the Museum have facilities for people with reduced mobility?

The building has restrooms, ramps and an elevator for people with reduced mobility.

Does the Museum have a coatroom?

There is a coatroom where you can leave bags, backpacks, coats, umbrellas, food and drinks, and pick them up when you leave.

Does the Museum have a parking lot? Is there a drop-off and pick-up area for visitors?

No, the Museum does not have a parking lot. Vehicles may stop in front of the Museum just for visitors' pick-up and drop-off, but they are not allowed to park.

Are we allowed to take pictures at the Museum?

Yes, but please do not use a camera flash in the area of glass cabinets.

What should we keep in mind when visiting the Museum?

No backpacks, umbrellas, food or drinks are allowed in the rooms. Please, do not touch the works and pieces, except where authorized by the Museum staff.
